A stay of at least two weeks is recommended to appreciate fully life in Yamba and Milingano.
The community is very welcoming and loves visitors.
Accommodation is in simple but clean houses. Meals are provided.
Individuals and groups welcome.
All visitors need to be self funding.

Specially tailored expeditions can be arranged by our partner PoD. These can include a wildlife safari, the island of Zanzibar, other paradise beaches and/or a mountain challenge. Expeditions can be arranged for schools, colleges, universities, teachers, religious organisations, sports clubs, corporate teams etc. For more details, please contact info@podexpeditions.org Visitors need to be 18 years old or above. Expedition participants can be younger if accompanied by adult leaders.
Please note that due to the current Tanzanian immigration process, Village Africa is no longer running its successful and popular volunteer programme which took place between Sept 2006-Sept 2012. Visitors are, however, most welcome.
Visitors need a visitor visa which normally allows a stay of up to 90 days.
