Vyaadahikana Village Africa Tanzania was registered in Tanzania on 2 May 2023 as a Tanzanian NGO (Non-Government Organisation).
It is the partner organisation to Village Africa, a UK-registered charity that provides funding.
‘Vyaadahikana’ means ‘It is possible’ in the Kisambaa language.
The project has Tanzanian staff and employs a lot of village casual labour for building projects.
The NGO is under the umbrella of the Catholic Diocese of Tanga.

Caroline Johnston (known locally as Makihiyo) is Village Africa Projects Liaison Director and is responsible for overseeing the grants made to Vyaadahikana Village Africa Tanzania.
